Enable a command line option to detect if a Tibco Spotfire area is updated, to get the list of packages of the area and to upgrade a single WebPlayer instance

We create spotfire extensions and we test them in WebPlayer automatically using selenium, but right now we cannot detect if a given area is updated, get the list of packages in the area or update a WebPlayer instance automatically, so we cannot include this step in our Continuous Integration system.

    Hi Jose,

    I understand the use case.

    Do you specifically require a command line or would you prefer maybe another type of interface (e.g. REST) to be able to check the deployment area from outside the Spotfire environment (e.g. CI/CD toolset)?
