OpenJDK/JRE support to Spotfire Server Merged

Spotfire Server currently supports only Oracle JDK/JRE, it is difficult to spend expenses on oracle JDK/JRE license if we have openjdk free of cost. it would be helpful if you can enable support to openJDK/JRE.

    There is no separate JDK/JRE download available but every service pack that is released for the LTS versions will normally contain the latest JDK/JRE version - upgrading to the latest service pack should thus resolve the issue.

    TIBCO Spotfire Server 7.11.9 and 10.3.6 contains Server JRE 8u241 (which is the latest version).

    Also note that both versions you mention are outdated - for 7.11 there's been three security advisories since 7.11.1 and for 10.3 there's been one since 10.3.4. https://www.tibco.com/services/support/advisories

    Thanks for the information, Current version of Oracle JDK on Tibco Spotfire server 7.11.1 and latest 10.3.4 is expired, which need to upgraded. can you please provide the link to download latest oracle JDK and for JDK upgrade procedures.

    Please note that the Oracle JDK is bundled with the Spotfire Server and licensed by TIBCO so there is no need for customers to purchase a license.
