global changing of the data type in the Data Connectors 

I would like to globally set the data type for a custom query saved as a data connector in the library. Instead of setting the data type in every analysis file, I would like to set the data type (perhaps in Manage Data Connections) and save it to the library, similar to how I can globally set the set the data type for a column in an information link through Information Designer.

    Hi Krithika and thank you for your idea. You should be able to edit colum names and datatypes in the custom query editor. These should be saved in the data connection in the Spotfire Library and seen in all analysis files using your save data connection. Create your data source and data connection using the Manage Data Connections tool > Add new. Or save an embedded data connection to the library using Data Connection Properties.
