Add Subtotals by the Horizontal Axes for Cross Table Merged

It would be useful to be able to add Subtotals for the Rows/Horizontal Axes in a Cross Table.

For example, if I have a date hierarchy on the Horizontal axis, with Year > Qtr > Month, it would be useful to have subtotals for the Qtr and Year, in addition to the grand total for the row.
