Map Ruler

It would be very helpful to have a tool on map visualizations to calculate the distance between selected points. Similar to how we're able to toggle between moving the map and selecting items on the map, I would like to also have the option to toggle to a ruler that could drop a line on the map. Ideally being able to click and select the start point then drag it to the end and see the distance calculate along the line.

While we can certainly calculate distances between lat long points via calculation, it is often beneficial to visualize and estimate distances manually between multiple points if necessary. Being able to drop these lines onto a chart and export the visual to a file would make these visuals very helpful for presentations.
