customize initial page after login as consumer

Currently if log in as consumer, the first page right after login could be Analytic (with File and Data flyout shown), Library (with a list of files/folders in library shown) or home(with Analytic, Library icons shown).

Our users find this very confusing and most of them want to set Library as the default. We are aware of the possibility to link directly to the library view, such as by using the URL: http://host-name/spotfire/#/library but we would like this to be a configurable property for each user group (at least).

Please consider this seriously and implement ASAP.

Thanks.

Yes, that's one way to go and the customer is aware of it.

However the customer still expects to configure this behavior because in older versions like 6.5, jumping to Library page was the default behavior and lots of customers have got used to it.

Ok, but perhaps it will work if they provide the users the direct URL to the library view?

Example for my local server on my machine: http://niklaspc-1/spotfire/#/library

      Hi Niklas,

      Thanks.

      Unfortunately, no.

Customer wants to jump to Library page or home page rather than current default Analytics page right after login.

Hi Wei Li, thank you for contributing. Does this solve your problem? (it is implemented in Spotfire 11.6)
