This is a feature that is native (and without the option to disable, which is not optimal) to Qlik Sense. There is a grid that allows you size and align visualizations very easily. This is particularly helpful on more crowded dashboards as you can easily standardize a series of visualizations. Combining this approach with the current freeform creation would give users the best of both worlds.
