Partner with data catalogs i.e. Alation, Collibra

Modern data catalogs can provide lineage from data assets all the way through to BI tools datasets, reports, and even down to the visual level. When a data asset gets changed (for example, a column gets renamed in a data warehouse table) Alation will send an alert to the report owner. This is needed for Spotfire too.
