This is particularly needed in histogram visualizations with a binned column in the category axis. Some of our data contains outliers, and in the web player the user cannot use filters to automatically exclude these from the bin ranges for a histogram. This requires them to either manually adjust the zoom sliders or write a custom expression to filter out these outliers. This leads to unnecessary extra steps to avoid creating unreadable plots.
This feature is present in the Analyst version of the program - it would be ideal if this could be added as an axis option to the web player as well.
