Oracle connector available from the web client

Having the Spotfire Connector for Oracle available from the web authoring client, would remove the need to install the desktop client to create and modify connections to Oracle data sources.

    From Spotfire 14.5 you can create new data connections to Oracle in the web client as well as edit existing connections. This makes it easier to build and maintain your analyses that use Oracle data in the web client.

    Note: Some connection authoring capabilities, such as configuring prompts, and writing custom queries, are only available when you use the installed client. For details, see the documentation.
