Part of code documentation is following the sequence of logic used to build a data table.
While calculated expressions support double-slash comments, not every node requires a calculated expression. Being able to add a comment / annotation to the Data Canvas at the node level would allow authors to document the logic flow, making it easier to understand how something is built.
This could be represented by an comment icon in the upper right above the node that displays the comment when moused over, or it could appear in the left hand lower panel when a node is clicked on.
