Passing calendar dates from Spotfire tables into Matlab data-structures via a Data Function without having to recalculate the dates

Currently calendar dates in Spotfire tabular data are received through a Data Function into Matlab as dates counted from 1/1/1960 rather than from the standard calendar starting point. This requires performing in the Matlab Data Function a convers...

Data Functions to pass Spotfire data in Tables into Matlab objects of type "Table", "Array" or "Matrix" instead of "Structure"

Currently Spotfire tabular data is received through a Data Function into a "Structure" object (a datastructure where each column is recorded and accessed as a separate field). This is a structure much harder to manipulate in Matlab than a Matlab "...

Custom Y axis values for missing data on a date/time X axis

If we have a plot with a continuous date/time X axis, but without values for every value of the X axis, we should be able to specify a default value for the Y axis if there is no data for a point on the X axis. Right now, Spotfire will carry on th...

Change the way Spotfire generates the inefficient query when filter is applied from one table to another table being used in the visualization.

The way Spotfire is designed, it generates a very inefficient SQL query in a scenario where a filter values from one table (having in-memory connection) are passed to main table (having in-database connection) which is being used in a visualizatio...

LIne connection option to use only horizontal lines

When using scatter plots, a nice feature is the line connections. However, in many cases data is categorical or indicate a change point. In those cases it would be preferable to have an option for the line connections to be drawn only with horizon...

Language setting under options allows to handle all information depending on the language.

Dates and amount format are depending on Citrix system settings, not the language chosen by the user under Options. It is an issue if the Analyst Client can be used all over the world through Citrix.

Remove crosstalk from Services creation so that you can start creating both services without having a hard to recover from error.

This would be useful to speed up the creation of services so that it can happen in parallel (Automation Services and Web Player) rather than waiting for them to serially complete. Configuration is hard enough without adding extra delays to be safe.
