More user friendly way to use custom expression to restrict data.

As compared to cognos,spotfire is not that user friendly when it comes about creating an subset of data.End user is finding this difficult as they have to make use of custom expression, if/then/else to restrict data.

Round Real values when importing as Integer in Spotfire

While importing data table into Spotfire from Excel , if we import Real data as an integer , that column has empty values in it. Instead Spotfire should round off the real values to nearest integer instead of keeping as null.

limit data checkbox

It would be nice to have a checkbox to quickly disable filtering from filtering schemes, markings or expressions. Else, I have to click on too many markings or edit and have to comment the expression... too many clicks can be turned into one!
