In a combination chart, you have the option to show line markers but there is no option to hide the line itself. The user requests a way to hide the line. It can be useful when the line doesn't make sense, for example when there is a categorical variable on the X-axis as opposed to a continues one.
I guess it would look like a combination of a bar chart and a scatter plot.
Yes, please have an option for no line, only markers. Requested by management repeatedly.
What Brandon said AND need to be able to set the format of the line seperately from the format of the line marker.
This should be soooo EASY! Just allow us to set 0 width or no color. Even Excel can do it!! (How's that feel?)
instead of just allout us to remove the line on the combination (bar/line) chart, would be best to just have the option to have a combination chart that will allow bar and shape chart to be together, and give us the option to change the formating of the shape.
Support this idea for enhancement!!!
Basically you want to be able to series by line, bar or marker. Agree this would be a great feature in a combination chart.
Upon searching the Ideas portal for "combination chart," this request has the 2nd-most votes for all search results. Would be excellent to see this enhancement come online soon!!
I also have the need for a combination chart where the line can be set to zero width, thereby showing markers only.
My idea is same and i need a only a single polynomial curve even though there are multiple scales
