Allow for more robust combination charts. Multiple bar series, line series, stacked lines / area, markers, or any combination. Full color properties for stacked bars, individual line colors or marker colors based on categories or values in columns.
@TIBCO Spotfire team: based on the comments on this idea, you can see the strong need for this feature. In case you wonder, this is already available in Power BI and Tableau.
Another nice variant on this request / idea would be to permit the line width to be set to 0 such that the user could have points rather than lines when the use case called for it. Currently the line width cannot be set to less than 1, so the line segments cannot be removed.
With the newly added dual y-axis feature in version 10.9 several of the problems with the Combo Chart have been addressed. Thanks Tibco for making some progress on this long-standing issue!
A couple of remaining complaints that I continue to field from users and other authors are:
Add support for stacked area charts. Even though line charts or stacked bars can yield a similar effect, "stacked area plots" are still the desired output in many situations.
Stacked bar mode within the combo chart visualization
I've got users trying to replicate a combination chart that was previously built in Tableau. Something as simple as displaying a series as 'markers' only (no lines), and they cannot do it. Please add more flexibility to the combination chart.
Should be able to synchronize axes if, for example, you have a line chart on the right Y axis and two bar charts on left Y Axis that are both Currency; currently left axis shows two different ranges even though both bars reflect currency. See attached image.
Only show line markers and not the line in a combination chart

I recently posted a similar question [here].
Do we know what the status of this request is on the list of requested feature?
MOCKUP: Cumulative Trend of Planned vs Actual Tickets Completed and Types of Issues

but note that, the Y axis should be independent. in my case, the left Y axis is Qty, while the right axis must be percentage.
This is absolutely necessary for any dashboard
