When we do export to pdf, spotfire doesn't automatically adjust the space present inside the page to print the visulation content so maximum utilization of page can be done.
Below are the steps shared by customer for further details:-
*Attachment Analysis*: PDF Export Analysis Spotfire Input Version 1.dxp
*Use Visualization Area Size*: 1920x1200
*Aims*: Print report so that all columns remain on the same page. Use maximum are on page.
*Steps:*
1. Remove columns After_Day_9 upto After_Day_15
-> lot of empty space appears in the visualization towards the right area
2. Print A4-Landscape using "use entire page" (s. attachment Screenshot, Print_with_unused_area_1)
-> columns After_8_Day and After_9_day are cut off
-> solution cannot be used
3. Print A4-Portrait without using "use entire page" (s. attachment Screenshot, Print_with_unused_area_2)
-> the empty space in the visualization towards the right area appears on the report as well
-> the empty space on the report is not desired, this also reduces the size of the readable content

This is possible in Spotfire 7.10 using "Relative text size". See https://community.tibco.com/wiki/whats-new-tibco-spotfire for more info.
