Currently we only have checkboxes and radio buttons for filters, but often filters doesn't give enough flexibility to developers. How I imagine the new property controls to work:
- checkbox: it would work similarly to List Box multiple select property controls, users would be able to check multiple box and the list of checked items would be saved to an array type property
- radio buttons: it would work similarly to Drop Down list property controls, users would be able to check a single value at a time, making a new selection would clear the previous item
Would also be nice to have pill switches
yes. Currently I have use JavaScript and IronPython to accomplish something that should be trivial as the drop down.
Absolutley, please add checkbox and radio box to property controls asap. There is no reason 'not' to have them, but in Filters?
We also need checkboxes as property control, because otherwise normal checkboxes are loosing its status when changing the page... would be great to have this and would fit with the property control concept which is implemented with other controls like the dropdowns e.g.
The more I use property controls the more I want this feature.
Yes, please. It's been posted two years ago and still nothing. I'm trying to understand why we don't have it and can't come up with any reasonable explanation.
