Feature and point layers in map chart outline customization

Currently, you can only have 1 color for all outlines of each layer (feature and point) within a map chart. The only other option for the outline is to make them thicker and to turn them off. I would like to be able to modify the color of the outline individually Ex. ArcMap (in case i want to make it transparent yet still identify by color attribution) Also, customization to create dashed outlines vs simple lines would be nice.
