Negation (NOT) and IN operators in on-demand settings

Hi,

Currently if you liked to filter on two or more distinct elements in an on-demand table, you will be up to some challenges. (Creating a property and populating it with a control and then deleting the visualization containing the control.) In my opinion this should be as easy as filtering on a single value (as in using Fix value in the filter settings dialogue).

Same goes for the NOT operator.

Thanks,

Laszlo

I hadn't ever tried this, but generally I have found Spotfire to be less friend to INs and NOT INs. I just tried it, and I am surprised. I figured the Expression radio button would be available and you could just type "IN ('value1','value2'), but the Expression box is not available. It seems like this would be a really simple, convenient addition. We use on-demand quite a bit, as well as multi-select prompts. I am surprised we have not come across this yet. I can definitely see needing it in the future.
