Edit data source

As a Spotfire user you are used to working with multiple data sources mashed together to provide more answers from your data. This feature would allow you to easily replace any of those data sources with any other data source without compromising the data wrangling and data mashup you have done.

This feature would also make it possible to initiate an edit data source details operation. For example, it would be possible to redirect a data source from test to production by editing the connection URL, database name or schema. It would also be possible to replace the data source completely by defining a new data source (type) from scratch.

    The ability to edit a data source has been enabled in Spotfire 7.11 by the new feature of replacing a data source.
