Make formatting (digits that can be displayed) for the column properties adjustable.

Our custom tool display limits of columns in formatting as in the attached image. It differs from the Spotfire column properties formatting. 

It seems its always approximate to a specific number of digits which is 15 for Real DataType. 

Can we increase the supported column properties formatting? Or can we have the ability to change the formatting of a column and to have it reflected on column properties formatting as well? 

the UI dialog of our custom tool shows the value as "21.760379791259911" whereas after setting it as a column property the value in Spotfire Column Properties dialog is "21.7603797912599" and you are looking to keep the formatting same as you see in your custom tool dialog so that the value is same across.
