We are using Spotfire Application Profiler to analyze and quality control in bulk all Spotfire dashboards within a certain library folder and this is very powerful and useful.
One of the most important topics is to be able to analyze the data connection details. We are using connection to Oracle/MSSQL/HANA database and would like to analyze the custom queries. For example we find the need to optimize a certain part of our custom queries because of bug or change in the data warehouse and would like to analyze which dashboards are using data from a certain table or which are using a certain phrase or where condition in the custom query. (Btw some of the custom queries are embedded in the dxp files, most of them are stored in the library as data connections).
But we don't see possibility inside Application Profiler to analyze this connection and custom queries and therefor asking for other ideas or a feature in Application Profiler to do this.
Please also add Oauth login support for connectors, so that one can analyse connections with connectors that are setup with this mechanism. Perhaps you can add a preference for this that allows to receive a Token and use this for the application profiler session.
This feature is very much required to enhance the Spotfire dashboards monitoring and governance. Because it helps to identify the particular table, the views, the table function used, in which type of data connection and also in which dashboards it is used. By having this functionality added in Application Profiler one can plan well before downtimes for relevant dashboards and also helps to plan the necessary actions like work around or communicating users effectively root causes.
