Having the ability to re-sign mods with a certificate based on the Spotfire account would allow an administrator to easily share trusted mods across the organization.
Making the mod signature and certificate verification completely transparent for end users greatly reduce the workload and possible confusion when using mods. This is especially useful when moving mods between Spotfire environments and the use of CA certificates is not a preferred option.
