In a combined chart, it would be nice to have the following options :
To choose the characteristics of each line: dashed line, thickness...)
To have vertical lines: e.g. have a vertical division between past and future (time on the horizontal axis)
To choose the location of the line abscissa: Currently, a line is a series of points with a horizontal position in the middle of each bar chart. It would be interesting to be able to choose to place it to the left, middle or right of the histogram.
For example, if you have a combined chart with time on the horizontal axis, you can have a bar chart with the amount of products sold per year (horizontal axis category = 2019, 2020,...2023) and the line could be the P&L. The P&L is calculated at the end of each year (31 December). It would be more visually pleasing if the points of each P&L were displayed towards the intuitive position of 31 December (between the two years).
To improve the marking when you click on a line within the visual. Currently, if your labels are only displayed when an item is marked, all labels are activated when you click on a line within a visual. Novice users think it is a bug because this behaviour is not consistent with clicking on an item in the legend.
Also, suppose you have 2 identical combined graphics sharing the same tagging and you only display the labels of your tagged items: if you click on the line colour of your first graphic from the legend then: only the labels of that line are displayed on the first graphic (as expected) but ALL the labels are turned on on the second graphic (bug?)
