*Goal:*
I would like to request the ability to control the elements on the Web layer start page. Specifically, what the defaults are and if the element is visible on the page or not.
Example:
1. We would like to default the view to Browse Library every time. It is very confusing to our end users when they see the Recent Analysis view after logging in. They think they have no reports.
2. In Library view we would like to be able to hide the Modified and Modified By columns. Our end-users do not need to see this. It clutters the screen and creates confusion for them. They think the Modified date is when the underlying data was refreshed.

This is very easy to do by implementing a report of reports. Build a database view on top of the Spotfire Metadata database, then create a report on top of that and build your own Library Browser report.
Defaulting to browse library is a great feature to have. Most of our end users are getting confused, when they see recent analysis tab as default when they login.
