    Spotfire 7.8 and later allows administrators to configure the in-database table visualization and details on demand row limit. This is done from the Administration Manager under the Preferences tab > <group> > Application > DataImportPreferences > TableVisualizationExternalRowLimit.

    Nice & needed feature but we prefer NOT to have end-users control this limit...

    Spotfire 7.8 and later allows administrators to configure the in-database table visualization and details on demand row limit. This is done from the Administration Manager under the Preferences tab > <group> > Application > DataImportPreferences > TableVisualizationExternalRowLimit.

    Preference description:

    Application Preferences <!-- td.hcp1 { vertical-align:TOP; padding-left:4px; padding-top:4px; padding-right:4px; padding-bottom:4px; } td.hcp2 { vertical-align:TOP; text-align:LEFT; padding-left:4px; padding-top:4px; padding-right:4px; padding-bottom:4px; } span.hcp3 { font-weight:bold; } -->

    Lets you specify the maximum number of rows that can be shown in a table visualization, when you are working with in-database data. Type an integer greater than 0. Default is 10 000.

    If the visualized data contains more rows than the specified maximum, only the first rows will be shown. The row order is determined by the sorting in the table visualization.

    Note: The preference will also limit data shown in the Details-on-Demand.
