Currently there are 4 types of access: (Access, Read, Modify, Full Control). However, what we're finding is that when users have Read access, what this really means is that a user has the traditional "Read + Execute" as most file systems would define permissions: Users using Spotfire professional can open the report (Read), but also have the ability (if they have the license) to edit the file (such as editing filters, scripts, etc). There are many scenarios that we have where user projects imagined the folder permission to behave just like a file on a OS folder: Read means Read Only.
