When drawing a reference line on scatterplots, for example, the labels are drawn by default a little bit to the left of the curve. When two curves are close this can become a problem, so similar to the move-able scatterplot labels, the customer is asking to allow for reference line labels positions to be adjustable

Future Consideration
Yes, definitely time this was implemented. It's ok when I am looking at the data myself to have the lines and curves labels overwrite and obscure the information on a bar chart, too close together in other charts, etc... But when presenting to a professional or executive audience, looks pretty bad.

This has been open for more than 5 years!
We have new customers/users complaining about this issue (in addition to the original customer who reported it 5 years ago).
What is the plan to fix it?

This will be very useful. Another case where users can achieve this in Excel, but not in Spotfire.
