The dashboard when exported to pdf looks great except for the text box which comes out blurry. Having the text box rendered how it looks in Spotfire would be fantastic. Either upping the graphic quality of the text box export or managing to export the rendered html in the pdf would reduce our reliance on powerpoint and feel that the export is good enough to share directly with external clients.

Spotfire 7.10 increases the resolution of the PDF export.
MIA Solutions has the tool called "MIA Template Exporter" that allows extended exporting (ppt, html, pdf) - via creating own document templates enriched with charts/tables/properties/etc. from Spotfire + a lot of functionality in addition for automation services - like "report bursting".
we support even exporting textareas, tables or crosstables as native objects into the documents. That means the values are rendered as text -> not image.
In next release of the exporting plugin we will support increasing/decreasing fontsizes in the charts.
