Ability to clear all saved personal states of an analysis

As a report developer I usually select the option "Remember personalized view for each web client user" to allow users to keep filter settings, selected page, etc, between sessions and scheduled refreshes.

But I would like to have the option to clear / flush all saved personal states for an analysis.

Some situations when this would be useful:

  • When an analysis (dxp) file has been redesigned I may want to reset the state for each user to ensure users start over from from the original state.
  • Unexperienced users may end up in confusing states, and may not know how to get back to the original state (or may not even know that they should get back to the original state). Maybe they have set some filters and forgotten about it, and therefore don't know that they don't see all relevant data. Would be useful to now and then flush all states for my report.
  • Sometimes states become invalid.

Some possible places where I would like to have a "Clear all personal states"-command:

  • When saving an analysis to the library
  • Library browser (e.g. right-click menu for analyses)
  • Library Administration tool
  • Attach files

This will be of great use. We cannot disable saving sessions settings and from user experience perspective cannot have the error pop up to user whenever we make some changes to analysis. This setting would be ideal to clear sessions before saving new changes to analysis.
