The Web Player Administrator wants the ability to close the analysis which are on loading state from Web Player Diagnostics page so that Web Player resources can be freed up.

The Web Player Administrator wants the ability to close the analysis which are on loading state from Web Player Diagnostics page so that Web Player resource can be freed up.
Example: If an user opened a large analysis mistakenly that takes 2 hrs and 1GB RAM. Then I realizes and closed the tab or clicked on cancel button, however the analysis does not get closed immediately. It keeps loading until it finishes. Though as per timeout value it gets removed later. However during loading it holds up memory and CPU ( for hours) which is unnecessary since user has canceled that. The same can't be closed from Diagnostics page as well like other loaded analysis.

From Spotfire 7.6 it is possible to close an analysis that is taking a long time to load from the administrator GUI.
It's great news, thanks Tobias for confirming that its 7.6 - might have missed it in the what's new pdf (if it was in there)
we suffer with this quite a lot in 6.5 - which is the version which delivers an improvement around this?
