Spotfire Ideas Portal
We used stored procedures to pass data to Spotfire. This should alleviate heavy data access from our server and to isolate the tables from our users. However, when error is encountered using this approach Spotfire returns a series of cryptic error messages that does not help at all, especially for new users.
To resolve we were forced to do a hit-and-miss (trial and error) approach to isolate the problem-----one table field at a time. To add to the frustration, we need to retype all the fields and its properties.
