Add a right-click on legend to temporarily remove data from the chart

I realize I can delete data from a chart; and by adjusting a filter I can also remove a certain category of data. But too often I have a situation where I dont want to delete the data and it is too cumbersome to go to the filters and uncheck a category of data. But some data just messes up a chart while it is valuable to see that data, eg certain categories of data produce a spike. I could also use the zoom slider on the y-axis. But rather I'd like to be able to hover on the legend, do a right-click, and say "hide". Perhaps the category name itself then still stays in the legend so I can do a "show again", but the data is then temporarily "removed" ie not displayed and I can see the charts without those spikes of that category.
