it would be really helpful if there were actions to show/hide the pages within an analysis document. This would be a bit like setting the visible property of a worksheet in Excel. This could be a dynamic action. This would enable a master page of a visualisation to be the only page visible when an analysis file is opened (for example), and you could ten drill down/through into other pages - making them visible as you drill down. You could have analysis files with many, many pages present - without displaying them all and confusing the users.
yiu should also be able to determine the start state of a document page via a UI option.
I am a spotfire developer, hiding of tabs in a dashboard based on user's requirement has been achieved by using a java script but it has its own limitation such as page navigator arrow does not work as expected, really looking forward for a permanent fix as it would be a great feature added to the tool.
We are from GE customer side, above requirement is heavily used by developers and currently there is no permanent solution for it. So we are looking for this enhancement in the product to resolve the issue at the earliest.
