Allow y-axis scale adjustment for 100% stacked bar charts

Often in 100% stacked bar charts the lower 50 or more % are not of interest (e.g. you have typically an 80-90% yield and want to zoom into the yield detractor reasons in the top 10-20% of the bars). Unfortunately SPOTFIRE does not allow adjusting the scale on a 100% stacked bar charts (it is always 0-100%). The workaround by pivoting the data and calculating the percentages manually is tedious and error prone (e.g. if new categories enter the data set they have to be added to the formulas manually).

It would be very nice to be able to adjust the scale in the same way as for other bar charts.

Hi Philipp, thanks for commenting. I did not mean to suggest a Zoomslider. Changing the value axis range for 100% stacked bars already works, but I have to express the max and min as 0-1, like in the screenshot I set min to 0.8 and let max be automatically defined. Did you mean you would like to be able to express the range between 0 and 100% instead of 0-1?

    Hello,
using a zoom slider does work,
but changing percentage value under Range would be superior (like in Excel):

    Best,

I close this becasue as far as I understand this already works, but it is possible that I have misunderstood the request. In that case I will reopen.

Mark, thanks for contributing.  To make sure I understand it correctly, do you sort the bar segments by size to have the most important on top, and then want to set the scale to only show the biggest segments? I assume you can use a zoom slider as a workaround?
