no longer able to get the webplayer to display Google's home page by editing the address in webplayer to https://www.google.com/. 

 

the web page (formerly collaboration panel) feature works in Spotfire 6.0.3.10. Why not in Spotfire 7.9?

We have installed 6.0.3.10 and the google.com is working and the but when we installed 7.9 it did not worked. If we wanted to use higher version and this feature is not working and does not make any sense. Can you please quickly reply what is the issue and when can we expect the hot fix.

    Google does not allow itself to be loaded in an iframe which is why it does not load into a Spotfire's web page.

    Google is sending an "X-Frame-Options: SAMEORIGIN" response header. This option prevents the browser from displaying iframes that are not hosted on the same domain as the parent page.

    Unfortunately Google does not allow itself to be loaded in an iframe which is why it does not load into a Spotfire's web page.
