I'm guessing you are on a earlier version than 10.0? In 10.0 it is much more prominent, it can be accessed either from the button in the lower part of the left bar, or from Data -> Data Cavnas menu entry.
Changing idea from "Restore calculated columns / columns from other tables when replacing a data table".
Thanks a lot Erik for your reply. It was not the easiest place to find... This idea to be changed to "Make this functionality more accessible from the "File" menu for example. :)
If you replace the specific data source instead of the entire table, these should be kept. Replacing a data source is done from the source view.
