markings on details on demand

I use details on demand a lot and sometimes I want to spot a value. It would be nice to be able to mark on DoD and see where the data is linked. A workaround is to create a details visualization but it would be nice to have that functionality out of the box. If marking is not possible, at leat the highlight that happens before marking would be sufficeint.
