In Spotfire web clients it is rather comfortable to execute an analysis without beeing prompted for username/password because of the possibility to use credentials profiles.
However, in SF Analyst I'm always asked to enter credentials which only our database admins know, and saving credentials in the data source is no option because it's a security risk.
