Spotfire Analyst - Fetch and render the Description field from the column items in the Spotfire Library

The understanding of what is displayed in a column is very important.

When columns from information links within the Spotfire Library have a description set, it is not possible as per Spotfire 10.3.3 to fetch this information and display it in analyses. The Description field available in the 'Column properties' is something proper to each analysis and not linked to the description field of the information link in the Spotfire Library.

We have some analyses where we have several hundreds of columns and it is crucial to be able to display the Library Description in the analyses, within "menus" or be able to display the information with a "hover" or within a text area. The description from the library is centralized and not analysis linked. Only one place to update it. The case with several hundreds of columns is also valid for analyses with less columns.

Could TIBCO enhance the analyses with the Library Description information, and ways to be able to display it to the users?
