We have a custom tool that represents a 3 state radio button that allows us to control behavior of custom analysis. The possible states are:
1. Never
2. Once
3. Always
We need to control that custom tool text (title or caption) that shows up in the UI based on the state. So, we need a way to change the custom tool title programmatically in Spotfire 10.10 ...
The alternative is to create 3 custom tools, and disable/hide 2 of the 3 based on the state and keep one of them enabled/visible. This is an ugly workaround.
It would be nicer to have an API to alter custom tool title on the fly.
