yes, bring them back. For example, It is easier for me to ctrl+F and start searching than moving my hands away from the keyboard to find the find tool just to see that the short cut is missing. If UX team doesn't like it because it looks too busy, at least put them on the tooltip while hovering over the item
Please make it also work with custom extension (items in custom menus and sub-menus)
Thanks for commenting Xavier. I do understand your point. At least in Spotfire 10.8 you are able to pin icons for your favorite features to the toolbar, so they can be available with one click.
I am really missing this feature. Shortcuts and navigation from keyboard is much more efficient when you are repeating tasks and you want to be effective. Shortcuts would be a great benefit. Many windows could be brought much faster. As per today, click click click click...
