The Spotfire Admin GUI still cannot search properly. This has been a problem since v 10 came out, and it's unbelievable that it is still there.
When I search to add a user by username to a group, the search does not turn up any results, even though the user exists. This is maddingly frustrating.
Can TIBCO please make this work? I hoped that by 10.10 this would have been fixed. This is very disappointing.

I believe the search works now correctly for both username and display name.
It has been fixed, together with many other fixes and improvements, with the introduction of the new web admin UI in 11.7.

We will look into this with the user experience group.
So I have just discovered if the user is already in the group, then the user will not be found in the search. I get it, but this is a poor behavior. There is no feedback saying the user is in the group. and with that sorting problem, things get more difficult with larger groups.
Search should find the user, and then not allow the user to be added, with some relevant feedback stating that user is in the group.

It still cannot sort properly either. In trying to find the user by display name, I get a list of results over two pages. User is not in the list either. I then try to reverse sort the list by display name, and the list is not sorted properly - only sorted within each page, not across pages.
This has been broken since 10.0 appeared. I am appalled that it has not been fixed. Is anyone using the Admin GUI on the web?
This does not work for the Display Name case either.
