Thank, you I clarified that aspect now.
Hi Niklas,
That's a good description.
Just a small note to make sure we're on the same page, It would be better to have this functionality for each visualization seperately in the Tools -> Options window (on a per visualization basis) and not a one global option for all visualizations.
Kind Regards,
Ghannam
Anas, I tried to rewrite the idea description a bit, let me know if this is (or is not) what you intended.
Hi Nikolas,
This feature would probably be better as an individual visualization type, so users can more freely customize their visualizations to cater to their usage. The intended use case would have been for scatter plot but if it can be extended to all visualizations on a per visualization basis that would be more than good.
We would like this to be a global feature in Spotfire for all visualizations and documents so that all analysis' will have the visualization setting.
Hi Anas, thank you for contributing. Can you please describe your idea in a little more detail? Like, do you want to set a default column to chose for the x/y axis for each visualization type, inside a specific DXP? Or Global? Or something else?
