need storage persist option for replacing data tables

Whenever I replace a data table the storage method always resets to "always new data". Can the previous setting be preserved across replacement? It's extra step to reset to the previous setting (if I can recall what it was), and is quite annoying....

Make it easier to access the 'replace data source' functionality

When replacing data tables, the columns added from other tables and the calculated columns need to be recreated. Having the possibility to bring them back would be great.
