So if you zoom in on the y axis to the top 10% of a scatter plot, then the x axis would auto zoom to the 1 data point that exists for that y zoom. This would save time trying to find where data exists on the second slider."
For Time Series Data coming from InfluxDB or similar time series database, the expectation of business users is to be able to auto-zoom by marking in the visualization.
The result of the auto-zoom may change and display different grains of data depending on the interval marked. E.g. : The scale covers a year, I see an aggregation per month, if I zoom by marking on a month, I may see data for every minut that I could not see before zooming.
