Set zoom slider upper/lower bounds (and center) via keyboard input

Often, I'd like to zoom in to a certain range of data. I know this can be done in the visualisation properties -> axis dialog, but it's not working together with the zoom slider, but the zoom slider is very convenient.

When the zoom slider is on, I'd like to be able to input the upper/lower bound of the zoom region by keyboard. One possibility could be right click on zoom slider -> Possibility to open a dialog to input upper and lower bound. Or similar as in a range filter where you can adjust lower and upper bound by clicking on the repsective values and editing them. Setting the center of the zoom slider this way would also be handy.
