Say you're using a map chart w/o any geographical information to e.g. display actual measurement points on an X/Y grid on top of a heat map style layer showing some sort of density information on the same X/Y grid. If you set the marker size of that heat map layer such that don't get too much overlap (which would make the layer unreadable) and the zoom into the chart you get lots of white space between the individual markers and the information of the local density in the zoomed in area is lost to a great extend. I've attached an example which show what I'm trying to describe.
It would be great to have a functionality which scales the marker size for heat map style layers as a function of zoom level always such that you get a seamless heat map.
