Preference setting for one locale setting from Server

As a Spotfire Server administrator  I want to be able to have an option to override the locale settings with one locale setting. especially for date and time.

e.g. week numbers can now differ based on locale settings of the users machines.

also starting day of week can be different.

this feature would cut out a lot of confusions and allows analyst to talk apples and apples instead of having to calibrate every time.

Having a setting like this will definitely save a lot of time and will result in less confusion. Especially since we have clients in 4 continents.

One of the issues we are now having is that Spotfire interprets decimal data differently depending on whether the user's system settings are set up to use a decimal point or a decimal comma. It would be much better if the display to the user was in the local format but the actual data could always be interrogated on the same scheme independent of locale.

This is a massive problem for us as we have clients around the world. We need a way to push locale settings to all customers in different regions. We currently have problems with Spanish and Russian customers.

It looks like Chrome now installs with US as the default language setting, so this is becoming quite a massive problem for our clients.
