Fix slider to zoom detail level, and then move "fixed slider size" up and down to scroll through the data

With the 2 slider buttons I can zoom in to the desired level of detail. But once zoomed in, I would like to "fix" those two small buttons into one button, and then move that combined button up and down/left and right and browse through the data while staying at that detail level. 
I can today do that by moving the two small buttons manually up and down but that is very cumbersome. Better to "lock" them together into one button and slide that one up and down.

    Once you zoomed in you can click in between the zoom buttons and drag them up/down or left/right together.
